The Problem:
Approximately 80 linear feet of 6” sewer drain line under the property had failed. The failing pipe was backing up and seeping museum’s basement acts as the museum’s library, containing invaluable and irreplaceable historical documents.

 

 


Swiney Park, City of Houston  |  Houston, TX


The Problem:
Swiney Park was undergoing scheduled renovations when contractors discovered the failing sewer drain line. The 60’ cast iron sewer and drain line was 4" in diameter experienced extensive corrosion and erosion resulting complete removal of the bottom of the pipe.

The Santa Cruz Main Post Office built in 1906 and noted for its architectural significance was placed on the National Historic Register in 1985. The National Register of Historic Places is the Nation's official list of cultural resources worthy of preservation.
